​Information saturated my childhood—radio always on, newspapers delivered daily, the nightly news a regular routine, and encyclopedias never out of reach.

 

That early immersion lit a fire in me, one that led to a Political Science degree from Loyola and a lifelong passion for history, politics, and thoughtful analysis. It is the drive to understand the world that still fuels me today.

 

Growing up with immigrant roots, I developed a deep appreciation for America's fragile exceptionalism – a true miracle that demands our constant care and attention. I am always striving to place our country’s challenges within a broader historical and global perspective, recognizing both what makes us great and where we still need to grow.

 

My lifelong friendships have taught me that real dialogue is not about convincing someone to agree with you — it is about the honest exchange of ideas. I believe that genuine connection blossoms from sharing experiences, listening, and learning together. That belief inspires me to bridge divides through respectful conversations, emphasizing our shared unity through open minds and hearts.

 

As the founder and director of the nation’s first 100% woman-owned Managed Service Provider, I had the chance to break barriers in the tech world while gaining deep insight into the richness and complexity of America’s diverse communities. That experience shaped how I built “The News Together” by assembling a diverse panel of independent voters and expert advisors to ensure our discussions are fact-based, unbiased, and truly inclusive.

 

Witnessing both political parties drift towards extremes and alienate the moderate majority, I felt compelled to create "The News Together." Independent voters are now the largest voting bloc in the country. They deserve honest, balanced, and unbiased reporting that reflects their values and concerns. This podcast is my commitment to amplifying their voices and affirming their significant democratic power.

 

Inspired by my grandmother's stories of FDR's Fireside Chats, where he simplified complex issues and empowered Americans through understanding, I aim to emulate that approach with "The News Together." My goal is to provide clarity and foster empowerment through informed conversation, one episode at a time.
